Last Monday I went to a lilac museum. It was pretty. As one might expect from a lilac museum in the middle of May, there were lots of pretty blooming lilac plants. They had a large collection of many different lilac varieties. Obviously, I took many photos of lilac flowers.
There are hundreds of lilac varieties in the world. Flowers can be various shades of purple, pink, or white. My personal favorites are the white ones.
The museum is in Dobele, Latvia. Another nice thing about this museum was the “gift shop.” Most museums have gift shops that sell various pieces of printed paper. This one, however, sold tasty stuff—fresh apples, various dried fruits, fruit juices, etc. I got myself two bottles or pear and cherry juice. It was tasty. They also sell various plants (including lilacs, obviously).
